Travel Business Outlet | IATA TIDS Application
This free global IATA identification programme provides a unique nine-digit code to non-accredited travel agents agencies and travel sales intermediaries. It helps travel suppliers like hotels airlines and car rental companies recognise bookings and pay commissions. As a travel business outlet we charge for this service yearly and after agreement we provide IATA access with an agreement. This is the service for those people who want to avoid Bank guarantee but required a booking ID. For booking ID we also required a few legal documents and a security deposit.

- Availability: Accessible worldwide, but not in the USA (where IATAN is used).

- Limitations: TIDS holders cannot issue airline tickets through IATA’s BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan).
To obtain a TIDS code, agencies must submit an application to IATA along with supporting documentation, such as business registration and a recommendation letter from an industry supplier.
Application Requirements
- Documentation supporting the legal form of business and ownership of the business entity (for example: Article of Incorporation)
- Copy of the business registration, including tax registration or applicable business registration number
- Bank letter or statement of account in the name of the business
- One letter of recommendation from an IATA Airline, GDS or other major industry suppliers (sample of Letter of Recommendation)
- Government-issued license for sale of travel-related services where applicable (for example: Applicants in Canada located in BC, ON, and QC must provide a copy of their provincial travel agency license. Applicants in Turkey must provide a copy of the license issued by the Turkish Ministry of Tourism & Culture)
- Signed copy of the TIDS Terms and Conditions
